Intro

Hello! My name is Vera, but most people know me as Laeti. I have a love for plants, greenery and nature. Recently, I've had the opportunity to start expanding my tiny indoor garden, and I suddenly realized I don't really have anyone to blurt my random plant thoughts at without boring the heck out of them. So I started this blog! If anything, it'll be my plant diary to look back at if I ever need to, and if it's helpful or interesting to anyone else - even better.

So since it's an introduction post, I'll say a few words about myself to kind of get that out of the way.

I've always loved nature and for as long as I can remember I've always tried to be close to it, even though I've lived in a big city since I was a kid. Nature is my first "attraction" wherever I go, and if I'm travelling I'd normally choose a place where I can either be one with nature the whole time or at least have the pleasure of interacting with it as much as possible. I guess it's the lack of it after all the years of living in a city where greenery is becoming a curiosity.

My mom would always grow something, whether it be in the garden over at their country house, or at home, caring for the plants we had throughout the years. Our home has never been green-free. Unfortunately, both our family and then myself (after it was time to leave my parents' home and start adulting) have been moving around way too much before finally settling in, so I never really had time, or, well, room to start an actual garden of my own. But even though I haven't reached my dream of living far, far away from a big city yet, I now at least have enough room for a small herb garden and some nice indoor plants.

Naturally, I have so many questions and so many things to learn, that reading what other people say about their experience has pretty much become my daily routine. So I thought, what if I start sharing mine? There is no way I'm the only person that enjoys reading, watching and listening to other people talk about plants. Besides, even the tiniest success feels so much like an achievement that I just want to share it. And this is pretty much what this blog is going to be about. I'm not a writer, and I'm definitely not a blogger, so forgive me if my blabbering seems awkward sometimes - I am trying :)
